There is something about me and food. I am a lover of trying out new recipes and trying out new food. Once I love it, I do it over and over again until I can take no more (This has never happened though).
So dear future husband, know that in all my cooking adventures, you will be the first to taste them. Get ready 😉
Mum always makes this kind of chicken that has become my favorite. Every time we are all home, she ensures that at least before we all leave, she has made this delicacy for us. And well, being the African lady that I am, chicken is just like my other bae (No pun intended).
Btw these days I talk about Africa like hee…. Tangu Wakanda, who is not proud to be African? Huh?
Anywho, this is a recipe I have done over and over again. My other older sister would even call me to her house to make this for her (Oh you are missed).
What you need
All your favorite spices (mine are turmeric, black pepper, a little paprika etc)
What to do
Cut chicken into large but easy to eat pieces.
Mix in all the other ingredients one at a time and let to rest in fridge for at least 5 hours.
Turn on oven to gas mark 6
On the baking tray, place the chicken pieces and bake for 1 hour, turning the pieces after 30 minutes.
I have tried to summarize the whole process. It however does not take long, and you will for sure love the end results of tasting the juice from it all.
