I was going through last year’s posts and realized that I didn’t do much in regards to food, as I had thought I had done. I thought I had documented everything – from my cooking adventures to eating out and sampling various restaurants within my area… but no. And that’s entirely on me. This year, we’re saying YES to capturing more of these moments ?
Here is to a year filled with more food content, yes? ?Because you know, the way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach ?
Sadly, I’m not sure of its pronunciation – but this is how it’s spelled. Crepes. I loved how it turned out and well, my experiment audience which is usually my family, loved it!
Here’s what you’ll need
1 cup self-raising flour
½ cup milk
½ cup of water
¼ teaspoon salt (yes, I know it sounds a little weird, but just go with me)
2 tablespoons melted margarine (butter is preferred if you can afford it, but kawaida blue band or prestige still does it)
What to do
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and the eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine. Add the salt and butter, beat until smooth.
Heat your pan over medium heat. Pour the mixture into the pan, using approximately ¼ cup for each crepe. Tilt the pan in a circular motion to ensure the batter coats the surface evenly.
Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Turn and cook the other side to achieve the same results.
Serve hot, glazed with honey.
That was easy right? Try it out.
I just wanted to come on here and appreciate each and every one of you for your birthday wishes, love, support, and good vibes throughout my birthday month ?From taking a mini-vacay, to receiving numerous birthday wishes and gifts…. And love. Indeed I have felt your love (not just because my love language is gifts) but genuinely. May the good Lord bless you. We do this again next year!
See you next week!
