What To Cook This Weekend

I have never really been a huge fan of pancakes, and therefore, never learned the art of pancake making. That is until I recently started craving them! I know that sounds really interesting, but I had this craving to make pancakes that just didn’t go away until I made them.

Since then, I have made it a Saturday brunch kind of thing.

The fact that it is super easy to make and takes such a short time, makes it even better for me!

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 Cup All-Purpose Flour

1 Egg

1 Cup Milk

2tbspns melted butter

Vegetable oil (for cooking)

½ tbsp cinnamon

Pinch of salt

What To Do

In a bowl, mix in the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter until combined.

Add the mixture to the dry ingredients and mix them until you achieve a smooth consistency (a few lumps may be visible. Don’t worry much about that).

Set your pan over medium (leaning towards low) heat and add a teaspoon of oil. When the oil has heated, pour a serving spoon full of the pancake mixture, in the middle of the pan. Let it cook for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Turn it to cook for the same amount of time on the other side before removing it.

Repeat the same procedure for the remaining.

Once done, layer your pancakes and pour a little honey over them.

Serve, and enjoy!
