So I decided to try the Ask me a question thing on Instagram, and extended it to Whatsapp. The questions were quite many. With others asking how I am or where I am. Well, I have sifted them out, and here we go.

What did you study in uni?

I studied Bachelor of Science in Communication and Journalism. Didn’t really know I wanted to be in the media industry until after high school. I love the career opportunities so far.

What is your job?

I am a blogger and a journalist. I am also a customer service representative for a pay TV brand.

What is your favorite food?

I am a lover of anything that has Irish potatoes in it. Fries, mashed potatoes, potato stew, baked potatoes, roasted potatoes… the list is endless. I also love fried foods a lot, something I am trying to cut down on.

Where would you like to live one day? What country?

I have so many. But if it still has to be in Africa, I would choose South Africa over and over again.

What is your favorite book(s)?

Anything by Danielle Steel is a must read for me. Currently setting up a library of all her books in the house. I am reading The House by Danielle Steel ?

Your questions answered

What do you like most about yourself?

The fact that I am a happy soul. Also, I am a go-getter, determined and a very social human. Oh, and did I mention the fact that I am always myself? I don’t pretend.

What makes you happy?

I would say it’s always a conscious decision for me. Even in an unhappy environment, I endeavor to make myself happy. For me, happiness is from within.

How important are friends and family to you?

My family make my friends. They are so important to me, especially in terms of the decisions I make, they are the ones who know what I am thinking and they have given me guidance thus far. I am not so much into the BFF craze, but I have friends I term close, and they are also part of what I call my family.

It is actually these people who see my potential and push me to realize my full potential.

How did you get started blogging?

It sort of just happened for me. I knew I would run a blog someday, I just didn’t know when. I have always written. I had this notebook that I would carry everywhere with me, and if an idea struck, I would write, wherever I was. I soon moved to writing on my phone when I got one. Every time someone would want to read what I had written, I would tell them to wait for the day they would see it on my blog.

The moment came after I finished campus and graduated, and wanted to make money. My parents, C, and a few friends pushed me to start. I was actually writing an article a week and going through it with my parents. I would say they are the ones who encouraged me.

Before I knew it, I was in the online world. When I started, I had no idea about designing websites, what kind of blog I wanted and all. Thankfully, I am a quick learner 😉 didn’t take me long to figure out where my niche was.

A year and a half later, it’s the best decision I made. And thanks to you, my readers, who have never given up on me.

What are your upcoming plans regarding blogging and social media?

I want to grow, and through my growth, inspire others. Also, in due time, I will possibly have guest writers as we grow the platform. My growth in social media is also something I am targeting, and engaging my audience more.

Your questions answered

What is your daily routine?

My weekdays are practically the same. Balancing between my blogging and work. I wake up two hours before my shift at work and get home just before 9pm. Weekends are more relaxed for me. I get to catch up on a movie, hang out with friends and also have time to myself. Sundays is dedicated to working on a rough draft for the Friday post.

Pretty much that’s it in a nutshell.

What is your #1 piece of relationship advice?

Be you, do you. Never pretend. And if it doesn’t seem to be working out, do not force it. The Lord might be protecting you and aligning you for greater things. You know your limits.

Do you ever want to have kids?

Yes. Definitely.

What are your life goals?

I will be enrolling for a Master’s degree in about a year. Once that is done, there’s more work to be done, marriage, babies, and building thee empire.
